In a thrilling showdown under the lights at Tiger Stadium last evening, the End Zone Divas triumphed over the Declaration of Interceptions by a score of 12-7 in the annual Powderpuff Football game. Minna Shingara scored the decisive touchdown with under a minute left to issue the Divas' proclamation of scoreboard separation. Kailee Helwig also dazzled for the Divas, catching a touchdown pass and securing an interception in the win. 🏈

11/15/24: First official day of winter sports. The gyms and wrestling room will be full tomorrow! Thanksgiving weekend is the opening day for winter sports. All teams 🏀🤼 will be in full swing by then.
🏈The Southern Columbia Varsity Club will be hosting the annual Powderpuff Game featuring members of the 9th - 12th grade classes. The game will be held on Thursday, November 14th at 6:30pm at Tiger Stadium. Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children. Only cash will be accepted (no Hometown Ticketing Passes).

PIAA District 4 Playoffs: Southern Columbia vs. Troy semifinal. No live stream of this game.
Because of having off school tomorrow, we are moving open mat to 4:30 tomorrow (11/7)! We are hoping this makes it easier on parents. Open mat will start at 4:30 and go until 5:30!

Southern Columbia senior Haley Conner saved her best for last.
Conner finished 53rd in the Class 1A girls state cross-country race Saturday, crossing the finish line in 21:46.
Mansfield U. info for spectators: No tailgating for this event. No chairs allowed inside stadium. Spectators away gate is located by Decker gym. Park in Lot N. Away bleachers hold 125 and a section of this is reserved for our band. Home bleachers will have a section for SCA fans.

From Troy’s AD: Spectator gates will open at 530p. Located at top of stairway by Decker Gymnasium. Please have spectators park at the Stedman Music Center parking. This is parking lot N.
PIAA District 4 Football playoff tickets
PIAA D4 Semifinal: Southern Columbia vs. Troy 11/8/24 @ Mansfield University 7pm. The gates will open at 6:00pm. Just a heads up that the away bleachers are small. Online tickets only through Hometown.
Haley Conner will be participating in the PIAA Class A State Cross Country Championships in Hershey at 9:30 am tomorrow. She qualified for States by placing 3rd at the PIAA District IV Cross Country meet. Good luck, Haley!!! 🎖️
