On March 22, the high school students face off against their teachers, both past and present, in the first annual SOCO Spring Showdown. There are two games, JV and Varsity, tipping off at 6 PM and 7 PM respectively. These games act as a fundraiser for the school’s Students Against Violence Everywhere (SAVE) Club. SAVE puts student leaders in a position to advocate for change within both the school and community, with the main goal being violence prevention.
Purchase your tickets ($6) at https://www.scasd.us/o/hs/page/hometown-ticketing .
Carrying extra cash to this event is recommended as SAVE is holding a 50/50 raffle, selling t-shirts ($10), and providing a concession stand. 🏀🏀🏀
