Seniors Isaac Carter and Gavin Krebs visited a Tiger Youth Basketball practice last night to talk to the players about the importance of teamwork, supporting one another through ups and downs, and building life-long skills through participation in school activities.

Students in Ms. Habowski's 2nd Grade class celebrated the 100th day of school with a 100 Hershey Kiss Hunt around the classroom. Students found Hershey Kisses that were hidden around the room. Students then placed the Hershey Kisses on a 100 chart and practiced counting to 100. This activity was also supervised by Ms. Habowski's student teacher, Mr. Merkle.

Mrs. Sharrow's Kindergarten class is 100 days smarter, and they celebrated by participating in delightful Day 100 activities. Miss Glassmire, their student teacher, also had the opportunity to be their facilitator during the fun festivities.

The SCA Class of 2025 proudly presents the Fifth Annual "DADDY DAUGHTER DANCE." Girls residing in the Southern Columbia Area School District in Grades K-5 are cordially invited to a magical evening of dance. Bring your dad or a special someone! When: Friday, February 16, 6:00-7:30 pm Where: Southern Columbia High School, Old Gymnasium Tickets are $20 per daddy/daughter couple. Each additional daughter is $5. 3rd grade students in Mrs. Madara's STEM classes utilized ClassVR headsets to reinforce concepts that they are learning in their science classes. Students were able to use virtual reality to explore the digestive system, respiratory system, skeletal system, and more!
