Students in Mrs. Hower's 3rd Grade class completed a STEM activity to "Save Fred" without using their hands, by using only paper clips. Students worked together to put Fred back into his life preserver and back onto the boat.

Despite last year's dry summer, our native species meadows, that were planted in the fall of 2021 by Native Creations, are in bloom and once again providing blankets of color throughout the campus.

4th Grade enjoyed their trip to the Nature Trail last week.


Last week, our Kindergarten classes went on a field trip to Rohrbach's Farm Market to learn about strawberries.




Attention parents of incoming K-8th grade girls: The SCA Girls Soccer Team is holding their 21st annual Girls Soccer Skills Camp! Camp will be held July 10-12th, 2023 from 5PM – 8PM. The cost of camp is $50 (non-refundable). Camp is for girls entering grades K thru 8 for the 2023-2024 School Year and is open to campers from SCA and all local school districts. 4th Grade took their field trip to Hershey's ZooAmerica yesterday, and they encountered critters like Millie the skunk, a legless lizard, and so many more wildlife wonders throughout the day.



As a culminating activity for their Animals and Habitats module, Kindergarten had a "beary" good time learning about bears. They learned about different types of bears, where they live, what they eat, and had a very special guest visitor! They also created an art project together.




First Grade students recently participated in Nature Day. The students ventured to the Nature Trail and had the opportunity to learn at 5 different stations including Stream and Pond Study, Aquatic Life/ Wild Critters, Tree Planting, Nature Bingo, and Pollination Friends. This was an exciting day for the students!
