Ms. Merook's class recently practiced number formation with shaving cream and reviewed sight words during a game of "Swat It."
6th Grade students reviewed the 5 elements of plot structure with a fun and exciting game of Plot Structure Showdown!

Ecology students recently used a kick net to collect macroinvertebrates from Roaring Creek.
Students in Mrs. Hower's 3rd Grade class completed a STEM activity to "Save Fred" without using their hands, by using only paper clips. Students worked together to put Fred back into his life preserver and back onto the boat.

Mr. Rooney’s 4th Grade class participated in pool noodle relays in Miss Manley's gym class yesterday!
Fifth Grade science students recently created DIY lava lamps to practice working safely in a science environment.

6th Grade ELA students spent the first days of school developing empathy by engaging in an activity where they created a personalized shoe that celebrated THEM!
Students in Mr. Williams’ Eighth Grade STEM Class spent time during the first week of school analyzing how to problem solve with other students while facing a communication barrier.
Amanda Strocko has experienced significant successes during her time in FBLA. This past school year, she won a competitive election to become Vice President of Region 7. She placed first in Business Ethics at the regional level, and 4th at the state level, qualifying her for Nationals. At Nationals, she placed 3rd in the nation in Business Ethics and first in her capstone project on water quality, earning her the $5,000 prize. She also has earned a Keystone Leadership Award and was accepted into the Business Honor Society this past school year. SCA is proud of you, Amanda!
