Students in Mrs. Spotts' Third Grade class participated in a cross curricular activity yesterday. In spooky season spirit, students collected data from various high school classrooms regarding students' favorite Halloween candy. Third Graders used both mathematics and scientific analysis to create bar graphs and pictographs to display the results of their data collection. 🎃➕🍫 Contributor: Wyatt Martin, Journalism Staff Member

Southern Columbia's Physical Education classes have been busy in October. Physical activity not only strengthens your heart, but also your brain! It improves blood flow to the brain which in turn increases cognitive function. The brain lights up after exercise, causing your thinking, learning, and attention span to zero in and gear up for success! Here are some fun action snapshots from our classes.
