Hometown Ticketing
Southern Columbia is excited to give their fans this convenient purchase option, where they will be able to either print-at-home or use mobile entry tickets for safe, no-touch redemption at the gate. Tickets purchased online can also be easily shared with family and friends via text!
A student pass will allow your child to attend every sporting event at Southern Columbia. Playoffs will not be part of this package. There is no Athletic Pass for Student/Athletes.

At the end of June, Amanda Strocko and Elizabeth Hodder, two upcoming juniors, attended the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) national conference in Chicago. Amanda competed in Business Law and Elizabeth competed in Introduction to FBLA. They had the opportunity to attend workshops and network with students from around the country.



Tiger Fans a few schools in the PHAC are going to all online ticketing starting this year. All events at SCASD will require purchasing tickets online. The attached graphic is a barcode for access to events at SCASD. Just find the date and event and click on purchase tickets.


Sports Registration for the 2022-2023 School Year is now open through FamilyID. Visit the ATHLETICS webpage to register your athlete for all sports in which they plan to participate in during the 2022-2023 school year.

SCA teachers and staff showed unity and Tiger Pride by wearing their "Different Stripes, Same Tiger" t-shirts to school today. The shirts were designed and distributed by S.A.V.E. Club.

On the boys side, Jake Rose won 2 gold medals in the 110 high hurdles and 300 hurdles, defending his championships from last year. Jake also added a 3rd place medal in the long jump. This earned Jake 26 total points for a 2nd place overall team finish this season.
Kate Moncavage won the girls AA 800 meter championship, becoming the first girl in school history to win a gold medal at the State Championships.

Jake Rose doubles down and claims Gold 🥇in the Boys AA 300 Hurdles in a time of 38.91 to claim the PIAA State Championship for 2nd consecutive year. Great Job Jake! 💪


SoCo’s Jake Rose starts the Tigers off at the PIAA State Championships w a 23.11 Long Jump to pick up 3rd place 🥉. He also won his Prelim Heat in the 110HH in a time of 14.59💪


On Wednesday May 25th the senior class took a field trip to Aquatopia Indoor Waterpark at the Camelback Resort located in the Poconos. Attending the field trip along with the seniors was Ms. Stine, Mrs. Schwalm, Mrs. Roughton, Mr. Hazlet, and Mr. Callahan.


Mr. Lindenmuth's Contemporary Issues class had a guest speaker to talk about anthracite coal and surface mining on Thursday March 26th. Dale Lindenmuth, Superintendent of Blaschak Coal, discussed the anthracite coal in our region and it uses as an energy source during the classes' unit on Global Climate Change.


Students in Mr. Roughton's Advanced Woodworking class built a custom bookshelf for Dwell Orphan Care in Bloomsburg. They also donated laser engraved glasses and tumblers for door prizes for their upcoming golf tournament.


There will be a meeting for current 6th and 7th grade girls interested in playing Junior High Softball 🥎 in the Fall of 2022. Coach Hunt will have the meeting this Thursday May 26th at 2:20pm in the Old Gymnasium. Please plan on attending if you have an interest in playing.

Todays Junior Field Hockey 🏑 game at Midd West has been cancelled.

On Saturday May 21st the Class of 2022 help their last graduation practice. As a final farewell, the seniors were treated to a catered meal. Thank you to Tom Waltman and Son of a Butcher for an outstanding meal.



High School Students and Staff are encouraged to participate in Senior Spirit Week starting on Monday May 23rd.


Muncy comes up w a walk-off single in the bottom of the 7th to plate the winning run and beat the Tigers 3-2. A well played game by both teams.
