FBLA States came with many individual and chapter successes and recognitions that we are excited to celebrate! Individual: The following students placed in the top ten in their events- Todd Brosius, 9th place, Future Business Leader; Vivien Miller, 9th place, Help Desk; and Grace Victory, 9th Place, Introduction to Business Procedures. The following students were recognized as Big 33 members for completing and logging community service hours- Johnny Barnette, Todd Brosius, Joanna Chen, Chase Compton, Victoria Heffner, Madison Kerstetter, Madalyn LeVan, Kylie Leck, Aidyn McHale, Vivien Miller, and Austin Shaffer. Chase won 7th place in the state for his community service completion and tracking. The following members completed the Business Achievement Awards which are online leadership training modules- Todd Brosius (Contributor and Leader) and Madalyn LeVan (Contributor, Leader and Advocate). The following students were accepted into the National Business Honor Society- Makayla Baylor, Joanna Chen, Victoria Heffner, and Madalyn LeVan. Chapter: Outstanding Chapter- For the 3rd year in a row, SCA FBLA placed as a William H. Selden Outstanding Chapter (9th in the state). This is a prestigious award given to 10 chapters out of around 270 chapters in PA. Students and advisors earn points for actions such as completing service events, earning Big 33 recognition, and submitting articles. SCA received Summer Starter, Shaping Success, Service Season, and CTE Celebration recognition for completing a variety of tasks during a certain time period.
