Each month G.C.  Hartman Elementary Center likes to recognize a student who is referred by a classroom teacher as a Citizen of the Month. The Citizen of the Month is given to children who consistently follow school rules, have been model citizens, and who have gone above and beyond expectations to be positive members of the community. Congratulations to our December Citizen of the Month for December, Lillian Kirkner.

Students of G.C. Hartman recently collected food for their annual Grinch for Good food drive. This year, more than 1800 food items were donated to the Catawissa and Elysburg food cupboards.
