Distinguished Alumnus to be Honored

Southern Columbia Area will welcome home some of its most accomplished alumni today during a ceremony in which they will be recognized for outstanding career and/or community achievement. The honored guests will share their personal stories with the District's High School students, explaining to them the path to excellence each took upon graduation. The Distinguished Alumni group will tour the HS/MS,  taking time to visit with Middle School students along the way.

Welcome Home Matt!

One of the nation's newest Marines, PFC Matt Haupt was welcomed home and honored during a ceremony held prior to the Boys Soccer match against Benton. Matt is a member of SCA's Class of 2017, and is home on leave after completing the Marine's intense,12-week boot camp recruit training program.

Coach Roth Wins 400th Football Game!

Surrounded by present and past Tiger football players, and members of his coaching staff, Coach Jim Roth, was honored in a post-game ceremony following the Tigers victory over Hughesville High School, the team's fourth in four starts and Coach Roth's 400th overall.In reaching this milestone, Coach Roth becomes just the 19th coach nationally, and one of three Pennsylvania coaches, to win 400 games.
