Tiger Wrestlers Begin Quest for Individual PIAA Titles

Good luck to the Tiger Wrestlers who have advanced to the PIAA Individual Wrestling Championships! Representing SCA at Hershey are Kole Biscoe, Ian Yoder, Patrick Edmondson, Gavin Garcia, Cade Linn, Tyler Waltman, Gage Garcia, Preston Zachman, and Lear Quinton. Lady Tigers Open PIAA Playoffs Tonight

Good luck to the Girls Basketball Team as they open PIAA playoff competition this evening against Mahanoy Area High School. The game will be played at Martz Hall in Pottsville with tip off at 7:30 PM.

Lessons will Focus on "Bouncing Back"

Southern Columbia's students and staff, assisted by community volunteers, will focus on the character trait of resilience throughout the month of March. Lessons delivered through stories, activities and assemblies will teach this character trait while promoting the value of perseverance, grit, tenacity, resourcefulness, adaptability, flexibility, among others, in "bouncing back" from adverse times.

Class of 2019 Spaghetti Dinner and Chinese Auction Fundraiser

Jump Rope Challenge

Literacy Night Features Harry Potter Novels!

The Library Club is holding a Harry Potter-themed literacy event this evening from 6:00-8:00 PM in the Elementary Gym. Participants will have the opportunity to circulate through ten different activity stations based on events from Harry Potter novels including Quidditch flying lessons, wand-making, and a sorting hat ceremony. Tickets are $2.00 per student and can be purchased in advance in the Elementary, Middle, or High School offices.
