Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. once said, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: What are you doing for others?” In recognition of Dr. King’s legacy of service to all, Congress designated the Martin Luther King Jr. Federal Holiday as a national day of service in 1994. Taking place each year on the third Monday in January, the MLK Day of Service is the only federal holiday observed as a national day of service – a “day on, not a day off.” The best way to honor Dr. King is through service and volunteering in our communities. Mental HealthTask Force Releases Findings

In December 2018, more than 60 representatives of local school districts, healthcare facilities, and community-based non-profits, as well as individuals from state, regional, and county-level agencies came together to create the Rural Central Pennsylvania Youth Mental Health Task Force, to focus squarely on growing youth mental health issues affecting children and families.
