Media Coverage for the State Championship Game

If you can't make it to Hersheypark Stadium for Friday's State Championship Football Game, you can still follow the action and root for the Tigers in a variety of ways. The  game will be televised on PCN TV which is available on most Pennsylvania cable tv systems.

Tigers Advance to State Title Game!

Congratulations to the Tiger Football Team who defeated West Catholic High School 42-6 earning the storied program a record 17th trip to the PIAA Football Championship Game. The State Championship game will be a rematch of last year's PIAA 2A contest with Wilmington High School advancing in the West.

Alumni Help Guide Students' Career Pathways

Twenty-five Southern Columbia alumni returned to their alma mater on Friday, November 30th to participate in the Second Annual Alumni Career Day organized by the Southern Columbia Community Foundation. Representing a variety of careers, the alumni met with freshmen, sophomore and junior students in a career fair format held in the Nesbitt Gymnasium.

Middle School Hosts Holiday Tradition

The Holiday season at Southern Columbia was ushered in with the celebration of the 12th Annual Senior Citizen Holiday Dinner. The event was attended by 155 guests who were treated to dinner and an evening of holiday music performed by the High School's Gospel Carolers and Brass Ensemble.

Coach of the Year

Congratulations to Girls Soccer Coach Derek Stine on being named the Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association's 2018 Class A Coach of the Year. Coach Stine guided the team to Southern Columbia's first Girls State Championship!

Honor Societies Induct New Members

On November 14th, the Induction Ceremony of the Southern Columbia Area Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society and the National Honor Society was held, welcoming 73 inductees.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Revisions to Bullying Policy and Student Code of Conduct Underway

The District's Policy Committee Meeting held November 19, 2018 has resulted in recommended to revisions to Policy 249 (Bullying/Cyber Bullying).

District IV 2A Football Champs!

Congratulations to the Tiger Football who defeated Mt. Carmel Area High School Saturday evening to capture the 2018 District IV 2A Championship. The victory marked the 26th time the Tigers have been crowned District IV champs!

State Champions!

Congratulations to the Girls Soccer Team on capturing the 2018 PIAA A Girls Soccer Championship! The Lady Tigers recorded a 3-2 overtime victory over Freedom Area to win the title!
