Congratulations to Jaret Lane, Class of 2018, on winning a Gold Medal at this year's PIAA 2A Wrestling Championships! The Gold Medal was Jaret's second consecutive, allowing him to become Southern Columbia's first four-time State Medalist and the school's second, two-time, State Champion! Southern's first two-time champ was Head Coach Jerry Marks, who was named the PIAA 2A Coach of the Year prior to Saturday's matches.
Sophomore Gaige Garcia earned his second State Medal, wrestling as a Finalist and coming home with a Bronze Medal. Senior Connor Fulmer, sophomore Cade Linn, and freshman Patrick Edmondson also won State Medals, earning them status as being among Pennsylvania's top wrestlers. In addition to these individual accomplishments, senior Anthony Scicchitano and junior Lear Quinton contributed victories and points, allowing the Southern Columbia Area Wrestling Team to finish as the 2018 PIAA 2A Tournament Runner-Up!
