The Columbia-Montour 2018 Middle School County Chorus, hosted by Southern Columbia, received rave reviews from an appreciate audience which filled the auditorium to capacity. The Chorus, consisting of students from the Southern Columbia, Benton, Berwick, Bloomsburg, Central Columbia, Danville, and Millville school districts, arrived at Southern Columbia 9:00 AM and spent the day practicing and rehearsing the songs- the first time they had the opportunity to do so as a group- performing them to perfection at the 7:00 PM concert. The students were led Guest Conductor Mrs. Jewel Bittner Griffith, a 2016 Southern Columbia Distinguished Alumnus and a 1960 graduate of Roaring Creek Valley/Southern Area High School. Southern Columbia students earning a spot in the County Chorus were: Toren Cooper, Emma Hayman, Keir Hill, Dylan Kramer, Autumn McCormick, Emily Myers, Annabell Reck, Kianna Rizzo, Skye Stabley, Maggie Stauder, Lauren Smith, Kaley Swenson, and Olivia Thompson. Congratulations!
