Southern Columbia was well-represented at FBLA's State Leadership Conference with twenty-nine students competing in various events that tested each student's business leadership skills. Among Southern's contingent, four students- Reese Houseknecht, Chase Urban, Chloe Wegrzynowicz and Jared Ebersole- were exceptionally strong, with each finishing as a top ten state finalist. Jared and Reese competed in the Database Design & Development event finishing seventh and fourth, respectively. Chase finished second in Spreadsheet Applications as did Chloe in Introduction to FBLA. The top four finishers in each event at each state conference advance to FBLA's national competition, thus Reese, Chase and Chloe have earned the right to compete at the National Leadership Conference to be held in Baltimore, Maryland, June 28-July1st. Congratulations on this outstanding achievement!
Reese Houseknecht, Chloe Wegrzynowicz and Chase Urban will represent SCA at FBLA's National Leadership Conference. Congratulations to these students and their advisor, Mrs. Lori Shively.
