Congratulations to Morgan Cole, Class of 2019, and CeCe Cook, Class of 2018, who were selected to display their artwork in galleries created by the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit (CSIU). The CSIU has set aside gallery spaces in its facilities to display artwork from students in its local school districts. The entity purchases the student artwork for $300 and pays to have the piece framed, if needed. The students are permitted to retain an electronic image of the artwork for inclusion in their art portfolio. The artists, their teachers and parents will be invited to a “Gallery Night” reception at CSIU to view the art repository.

CSIU Executive Director Dr. Kevin Singer, (second from right) visited SCAHS to congratulate Morgan and CeCe (standing third and fourth, respectively, from left). Joining him in offering congratulations are Superintendent Paul Caputo, HS Art Teacher Casie Baker, and High School Principal Jim Becker.
